I don't see the need It's good to have someone double check Depends on the trip

How willing are you to paddle with random people?

I only boat with trusted paddlers If I have a chance to discuss their expereince I might I'll paddle with anyone

Do you always carry a personal medical kit despite another person having one?

I like to know what is in my kit and have it close at hand If I trust the person with the kit I probably wont If someone else has one it's not needed

How do you feel about the water level being high for the run?

We're boaters this is what we do Red Flag Depends on my familiarity with the run and my crew

How do you feel about portages?

More than 1 time per mile it is not really rafting If the rapid doesnt feel right, I'm walking Always on the table, but I want to talk with the crew first
